I was on THE BEST FLIGHT EVER today from Atlanta and Anchorage. The pilot flew a slightly different pattern so that we could fly over the mountains and the glaciers to watch all the beauty. He even tilted the plane back and forth and announced about all the beautiful things to see. AMAZING. :-)
We have gotten to the Microtel Inn in Anchorage just down the road from the airport. We're about to head to supper and then head back for a quick nap. We'll have to be at the airport by 4am so that we can check luggage and be on the 6am flight to Kotzebue.
We're four hours behind EDT now. It is 11:41pm EDT; now 7:41pm Alaska time. More updates soon! :-)
